WELCOME
The Tomahawk Area is home to 
many Lakes, Flowages and Rivers
 offering great recreational and 
fishing opportunities for Walleye, 
Musky, Northern Pike, Bass, 
Trout and Panfish. Each year 
several trophy size Musky, 
LM Bass, SM Bass and Walleye 
are caught in our beautiful waters.  
Here is a highlight of just some of
our beautiful lakes and fishing 
opportunities:  


Lake Alice:  Just under 1,400 acres, Lake Alice in a great fishing lake that holds Musky, Pike, Bass and Walleye. Lake Alice is also known for its Panfishing and is a very popular ice fishing spot. During the winter months the Lake becomes a city of ice shanties.

Lake Mohawksin:  This1,910 acre lake and part of the Wisconsin River System is home to the Mighty Musky, some as long at 50 inches. Lake Mohawksin is also known for its Great Smallmouth Bass & Walleye Fishing. Northern Pike, Crappies and Bluegills are also plentiful. Lake Mohawksin is open all year long for Gamefish & Panfish. Aquatic Arts sells boat launch permits.  
 
Lake Nokomis:  The largest lake in the Tomahawk area with 2,433 acres, Lake Nokomis is known for its Bluegill, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Musky, Northern Pike and Walleye fishing. It is also a great place to spot majestic bald eagles. Lake Nokomis is part of a chain of lakes that includes Bridge and Deer Lakes, with more than 4,000 acres of recreation.
 
Spirit Flowage:  A scenic body of water where wildlife is plentiful and the fishing is great.  Walleyes are the mainly targeted fish, producing 10 pound fish every year.  Northern pike, Muskies, Crappies, Bluegills and huge Bullheads can also be found.  The winter is a playground for ice fisherman, as roads are plowed up and the down the ice covered flowage offering access to famous fishing holes.
